Given :-

  • Lenght of rope = 72 m

  • Length of each piece cutted from rope = 2⅖ m

To Find :-

  • Total number of pieces cutted from rope

Solution :-

Lenght of rope = 72 m

Number of pieces = Total length / cutted length

⇒ 72 ÷ 2⅖

⇒ 72 ÷ 12/5

⇒ 72 × 5/12

⇒ 360/12

⇒ 30 m

Lenght of each piece is 30 m

Answer:

  • Total Length = 72 m
  • One Piece = 2\:{}^{2}\!/{}_{5}

\underline{\textsf{According to the Question :}}

:\implies\sf Total\: Length=One\: Piece\: Length \times Number\\\\\\:\implies\sf 72=2\:{}^{2}\!/{}_{5}  \times Number\\\\\\:\implies\sf72 = \dfrac{12}{5} \times Number\\\\\\:\implies\sf72 \times \dfrac{5}{12} = Number\\\\\\:\implies\sf6 \times 5 = Number\\\\\\:\implies\underline{\boxed{\textsf{\textbf{Number = 30}}}}
