Step-by-step explanation:

*solve*

10 m

3 whole 1/2 m

1 whole 1/2 m

So,convert mixed fraction into improper fraction

=*7/2*+ *3/2×2=6/2* =13/2

= Convert 13/2 into mixed fraction

So,Farida cut off 6 whole 1/2 m in all.

Now , cloth left=?

=6 whole 1/2 into improper

so,13/2-10/1

Firstly, find out the LCM of these

lcm=2

13/2×1/1=13/2 - 10/1 × 2/2=20/2

20/2-13/2 = 7/2 = 3 whole 1/2 m

Thus, 3 whole 1/2 m of cloth was left in the bolt.

I hope this will be helpful.
