From a circle of radius 10 cm a sector of 40% area is removed. a cone is formed with the remaining part of the circle. find the ratio of the radius and height of the cone?

area of the circle = 100π
area of sector = 40% x 100π = 40π
area remaining = 100π - 40π
= 60π
or, CSA of cone = 60π
or, πrl = 60π
or, rl = 60 (dividing both sides by π)
or, r[√​(h^​2​​+r​^2​​)] = 60
now, form the equation and solve it to get the answer.
