From a circular board of radius 10.5 cm, a sector of a central angle 60 degree is cut out .Find the area of the remaining part of the cardboard . Take pie =22/7​

Let area of sector be A, then

A/(pie.r^2) = 60/360 = 1/6

A = pie.r^2×1/6=pie.r^2/6

Area of the remaining part = pie.r^2 - pie.r^2/6

=(5/6).pie.r^2

=5×22×10.5×10.5/(6×7)

=288.75 sq cm Ans
