From a circular card sheet of radius 28 cm, two circles of radii 7 cm and a rectangle of length 3 cm and breadth 2 cm are removed. Find the area of the remaining sheet.

║⊕ANSWER⊕║

Total area of sheet = πr²

                                 =22/7 * 28 * 28

                                 =2464 cm²

Area of 2 circles = 2πr²

                             =2 * 22/7 * 7 * 7

                              =308 cm²

Area of rectangle = 3 * 2

                               = 6 cm ²

Area of remaining sheet = area of total sheet - [area of 2 circles+area of rect.]

                                          = 2464 - (308+6)

                                           =2150 cm²

Answer:

Area Remaining of Sheet = 2150 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

We Have :-

Big circular sheet of Radius = 28 cm

Two small circle of Radii = 7 cm

A Rectangle of :-

Length = 3 cm

Breadth = 2 cm

To Find :-

Find the Area of the remaining sheet

Formula Used :-

Area of circle = π r²

Area of rectangle = Length * Breadth

Solution :-

Area\ of\ Bigger\ circle = \frac{22*28*28}{7}  \\\\= 2464 cm^{2} \\\\Area of smaller circle = \frac{22*7*7}{7} \\\\= 154 cm^{2} \\\\There\ are\ 2\ circles\ of\ same\ radius \\\\Area = 154 *2\\\\=308  cm^{2} \\\\Area\ of\ Rectangle = 3 *2\\\\= 6 cm^{2} \\\\Total\ Area\ Removed = 308 + 6 \\\\= 314 cm^{2} \\\\Area\ of\ remaining\ sheet=Total\ Area - Area\ Removed\\\\= 2464 - 314 \\\\= 2150 cm^{2}

Area Remaining of Sheet = 2150 cm²
