From a circular sheet of radius 10 cm,a disc of radius 3 cm is cut out and the portion of the sheet left behind is painted at the rate of Rs.0.35 per cm square.Find the cost of painting the sheet.

here's ur answer...
given the radius of the circular sheet is 10cm
area of the circular sheet = πr²
= 22/7×10×10
= 2200/7cm²
radius of the disc which has been cut out from the circular sheet is 3cm.
area of the disc = πr² rea
= 22/7×3×3
= 198/7cm²
hence area of the left over sheet = 2200-198/7
= 2002/7
= 286m²
cost of painting if per m² costs ₹0.35 = 286×0.35
= ₹100.1
