Step-by-step explanation:

R = 4 cm

Area of circle = πR²

A1 = 16πcm²

Now a circle of 3cm is removed , area of that circle will be

A2 = π×9 = 9πcm²

Now , area of remaining circle = A1-A2

=( 16-9)π cm²

= 7 π cm²

Putting value of π = 22/7

= 7×22/7 = 22 cm²

Answer:

22 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of remaining sheet = area of circular sheet - area of removed sheet

Area of circular sheet = πr²

= 22/7×4² = 22/7×16 = 352/7cm²

Area of removed sheet = πr²

= 22/7×3²= 22/7×9 = 198/7 cm²

Area of remaining sheet = 352/7 - 198/7

= (352-198)/7

=154/7

= 22cm²
