Solution:
For the given event sample space can consist of
{(M1,M2),(W1,W2),(W1,W3),(W2,W3),(M1,W1),(M1,W2),(M1,W3),(M2,W1),(M2,W2),(M2,W3)}
Total =10
Since two persons are to be selected,so sample space have above shown variables.
If E is the event in which one man and one woman are selected, then which are the cases favorable to E?
To find the Favourable cases for the event E,selects those variables from sample space having one man and one women
So,
{(M1,W1),(M1,W2),(M1,W3),(M2,W1),(M2,W2),(M2,W3)}
Total =6
