Total Amount to be payed by sudhir = (375×2)+(525×2)=750+1050=1800

But he gets 15% as rebate
thus, 15% of 1800 = 1800×15/100= 270

Amount Sudhir needs to pay = 1800-270=1530

Solution :

i ) Cost of each bedsheet = Rs 375

Cost of 2 bed sheets = 2 × 375 = 750

ii ) Cost if each floor mat = Rs 525

Cost of 2 Floor mats = 2×525 = Rs 1050

Total cost of the items = Rs 750+Rs1050

C.P = Rs 1800

Rebate ( d ) = 15%

Sudhir should pay = CP( 100 - d)/100

= 1800( 100 - 15 )/100

= 1800 × ( 85/100 )

= Rs 1530

Total Rebate = Rs 1800 - Rs 1530

= Rs 270
