Answer:

Salt : Sugar :: 7  : 5

Step-by-step explanation:

From A Homogeneous Mixture Of Salt And Sugar Containing For Parts Of Salt And 5 Parts Of Sugar One By Fourth Part Of Mixture Is Drawn Off And Replaced With Salt The Ratio Of Salt And Sugar Is

4 Parts of Salt  &  5 Parts of  Sugar

let say Salt = 4k  & sugar = 5k

total Parts = 4k + 5k = 9k

=> Salt = 4/9   & Sugar = 5/9

1/4 of mixture is drawn => 9k/4  is drawn

Salt removed = (4/9)(9k/4) = k

Remainig Salt = 4k - k = 3k

Sugar Removed = (5/9)(9k/4) = 5k/4

Remaining Sugar = 5k - 5k/4  = 15k/4

Salt added = 9k/4

Now salt = 3k + 9k/4 = 21k/4

Salt : Sugar :: 21k/4  : 15k/4

=> Salt : Sugar :: 7  : 5

7 Part of salt & 5 Part of Sugar
