Given :  a pack of 52 well shuffled cards,  cards are drawn one by one without replacement.  fourth drawn card is found to be the ace

To find : what is the probability that there are no more aces left in the pack

Solution:

a pack of 52 well shuffled cards

A pack has 4 aces

fourth drawn card  is ace

there are no more aces left in the pack

=> 1st three cards has to be aces

3 aces to be selected from 4 aces   =  ⁴C₃

& 3 cards to be selected from 52 cards =  ⁵²C₃

Hence probability      =  ⁴C₃/⁵²C₃   =  4 * 3 * 2  / 52 * 51 * 50

= 1/5525

1/5525  is the probability that no more aces left in park
