Total length of ribbon= 50m

length of 1 piece= 11/2m

length of 2piece = 27/4m

length of 3 piece= 5/6m

Total length of 3 pieces= (11/2)+(27/4)+(5/6)

Total length of 3 pieces=(( 11×6)+(27×3)+(5×2))/12

Total length of 3 pieces=( 66+81+10)/12

Total length of 3 pieces= 157/12

The remaining length of the ribbon =
50 - 157/12 = ((50×12)-157)/12

The remaining length of the ribbon=
( 600-157)/12 = 443/12= 36 11/12m

Total length of cloth=50 m

Length of 1st piece of cloth=11/2 m=5.5 m

Length of 2nd piece of cloth=27/4=6.75 m

Length of 3rd piece of cloth=5/6=0.833 m (approx)

Sum total of.lengths of all 3 pieces of cloth=5.5+6.75+0.833=13.083 (approx)

Remaining length of cloth=50-13.083=36.917 m
