The height of tower=28 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of building=7 m

Let h be the height of tower

In rectangle BDEF

BD=EF=7m,DE=BF

In triangle DEF

tan\theta=\frac{Perpendicular\;side}{Base}

Using the formula

tan30=\frac{EF}{DE}

\frac{1}{\sqrt 3}=\frac{7}{DE}

Using tan30 degree=\frac{1}{\sqrt 3}

DE=7\sqrt 3 m

DE=BF=7\sqrt 3m

In triangle ABF

\frac{AB}{BF}=tan60^{\circ}

Substitute the values

\frac{AB}{7\sqrt 3}=\sqrt 3

By using tan 60 degrees=\sqrt 3

AB=7\sqrt 3\times\sqrt 3=21 m

Height of tower=AB+BD=21+7=28 m
