From a point on the ground, the angle of elevation of the bottom of the top of a transmission Tower fixed at the top of 20 metre high building are 45 degree and 60 degree respectively .find the height of the tower.​

Because the building is 20m high, observer is 20 m from building as angle of elevation is 45°

Now tan 60°=1.732

=(total height of tower and building)/dist of observer from building

=(total height)/20

so total height=20*1.732

=34.64 m

and height of tower

=34.64-20

=14.64 m ANSWER
