the height of the transmission tower. = 14.64 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say height of Transmission tower = h  m

Height of bottom of Tower = 20 m

Height of Top of tower = 20 + h  m

Tan 45° = Height of bottom of Tower / Distance of point on ground from building

=> 1  = 20/ Distance of point on ground from building

=> Distance of point on ground from building = 20 m

Tan 60° = Height of Top of Tower / Distance of point on ground from building

=> √3 = (20 + h)/20

=> 20√3  = 20 + h

=> h = 20√3 - 20

=> h = 14.64

the height of the transmission tower. = 14.64 m
