AC is the height of the tower

< ADB = 45° < CDB = 60°

so in ADB angle of elevation is 45°

in which AB is height and BD is base of the building

therefore P ÷ H is the formula of tangent (tan)

in CDB angle of elevation is 60°

in which CB is the height of the tower and BD is base of the tower
