The height of the tree is 50√3 meters.

GIVEN: The point on the ground at the top of the tree is seen to have an angle of elevation of 60 °. The distance between the tree and a point is 50 m.
TO FIND The height of the tree.
SOLUTION:

As we are given in the question,

The angle of elevation is 60 degrees.

The distance between the tree and points (A, C) is 50 meters.

As we know,

Tan 60 = Perpendicular/Base

Also, the base is 50 meters.

Therefore,

Tan 60 = Perpendicular/50

√3 = perpendicular/50

50√3 = Perpendicular

Therefore,

The height of the tree is 50√3 meters.
