in the given equation

x^2 + y^2 = 5

differentiating with respect to X

dy/dx = -x/y

the radius of circle is sqrt5

so point p ( 0,sqrt5)

two point on diameter p'(0,2sqrt5) and p"(0,- 2sqrt5)

the diameter of circle is also called chord

asuming diameter is on x axis

Now equation of chord

x - x1 = m(y - y1)

m = -x/y

Now

x - 2sqrt5= -x/y(y - 2sqrt5)
