length of tangent = 24 cm,distance = 25 cm

Length of a tangent (l) = Root of d^2 - r^2 (or) L^2=d^2_ r2

(24)^2 = 25^2 _ r^2

576 = 625 _ r^2

r^2 = 625_576

r^2 = 49

r = 7cm

: . Radius of the circle = 7 cm
