hey friend
See to form a quadratic polynomial we need sum and product.
product is given which is -56
one zero is given which is 8
let this zero be alpha
and other zero be beta
product = alpha× beta
-56=8×beta
-7=beta
sum = alpha+beta
sum = 8+(-7)
sum = 1

quadratic polynomial = k( x square - sum ×x + product)
=k{x square - 1x + (-56)}
=x square -x -56
here k = 1
So the quadratic polynomial is x square - x -56.

☺️hope it helps☺️
