From a rectangular sheet of tin of size 100cm by 80cm, are cut four squares of side 10cm from each corner. Find the area of the remaining sheet. ​

area of remaining sheet = area of rect. - area of square

= (8000 - 400) cm sq.

= 7600 cm sq.

Hence, the area of remaining sheet is 7600 cm sq.
