mass of gun = 4kg

mass of bullet = 50gm

(1000g = 1kg) 50gm= 0.05kg

initial velocity = 35 m/s

momentum of bullet = momentum of gun

mass of × velocity = mass of × recoil velocity

bullet of bullet gun of gun

0.05× 35 = 4 × R (R= recoil velocity of gun)

1.75 = 4 ×R

1.75÷ 4 = R

0.43 m/s = R ans..
