From a rope 11 m long, two pieces of lengths 13/5 m and 33/10 m are cut off. What is the length of the remaining rope?​

the length of the remaining rope

= 11 - (13/5 + 33/10 )

= 11 - (26 +33/10 )

= 11 - (59 /10)

= (110 - 59) /10

= 51 / 10 metre
