From a rope 11m long,two pieces of lengths 18÷5m and 33÷10m are cur off. What is the length of the remaining rope?

3.6+3.3=6.9

11-6.9=4.1

then,
18/5+33/10+x=11
36/10+33/10+x=11
69/10+x            =11
           x            =11-69/10
            x           =   110-69/10
             x          =  41/10
