From a rope of length 10 m, a prece of length 1 m 20 cm is cut off and the remaining
piece is divided into 16 equal parts What is the length of each of the equal pieces?

Given, A rope of length 10m.

Here we are cutting the rope from 1m 20cm.

we can write 10m into 1000cm similarly we can write 1m 20cm into 120cm.

1000cm - 120cm = 880cm

Dividing the remaining rope by 16 equal part.

880 ÷ 16 = 55cm

The length of each of the equal pieces are 55cm it also can be written as 0.55m.
