Total length of rope =20 1/2 m

Length cut off =3 5/8m

Remaining rope=[20 1/2- 3 5/8]= [41/2-29/8]

∴Length of the remaining rope =16 7/8 m

Answer:

Step-by-step: STEP 1 - FIRST YOU HAVE CHANGE THE MIXED FRACTIONS TO IMPROPER FRACTIONS=20 1/2=41/2 AND 3 5/8 = 29/8

STEP 2- THEN YOU HAVE TO FIND THE LCM = 8

STEP 3- THEN YOU HAVE TO CONVERT 41/2 =164/8

TO DO THAT THE LCM YOU HAVE FOUND 8 IS GOING TO BE MULTIPLIED BY BOTH 41 AND 2 WHICH WILL GIVE YOU 164/8

STEP 4 - THEN YOU HAVE TO SUBTRACT 29/8 FROM 164/8

STEP 5 - THEN FIND THE ANSWER WHICH IS 135/8

STEP 6 THEN CHANGE IT INTO MIXED FRACTION WHICH IS 16 7/8

STEP 7 MARK ME AS THE BRAINLIEST

IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE IT INTO MIXED FRACTION YOUR MARKS IN THE EXAM WILL BE CUT.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
