From a rope of length 30 m , a man cuts some equal sized pieces. How many pieces can be cut if each piece is of 5/9 metres in length​

ANSWER :-

Given :-

Length of rope = 30 m

Length of each piece when it is cut into peices = 5/9

To find :-

No of peices into which the rope is cut .

Solution :-

Let the number of peices be x

 \frac{5}{9}  \times x = 30 \\  \frac{5x}{9}  = 30 \\ 5x = 270 \\ x =  \frac{270}{5}   = 54 \: peices
