TSA of remaining solid = CSA of cylinder + CSA of cone + area of base of cylinder

=>

\pi {r}^{2} h \:  +  \pi \: r \: l \:  +  \: \pi {r}^{2}

=>

\pi \: r  \:  \times {r h \:  +  \: l \:  +  \: r}

=>

3.14 \times 2.4 \:  \times  \: 2.4 \times 2.8 + 3.6 + 2.4

=>56.6

THEREFORE TSA OF REMAINING SOLID =

 {56.6}cm^{2}
