The original area of the cardboard is 1936 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of circle = \pi r^2

We are given that the area of circle is 154 cm square

So,  \pi r^2=154

\frac{22}{7} \times  r^2=154

r=\sqrt{154 \times \frac{22}{7}}

r=22

So, radius of circle = 22 cm

Diameter of circle = 2r=2(22)=44 cm

from a square cardboard is circle of biggest area was cutted out

So, Side of square = 44 cm

Area of square = Side^2 = 44^2 = 1936 cm^2

Hence the original area of the cardboard is 1936 cm^2
