Answer:

Area of cardboard= 169 cm sq

Radius of circle wil be half the lenght of side to have max area of circle..

Therefore R =7 cm

Area of circle =πR ^2

therefore area = 3.14*49=153.86

Area left =169-153.86

=15.4

Hope it helps

Answer:

VERIFIED ANSWER ‼️

SIDE= 14 CM

AREA=(S)^2

=(14)^2

=196CM^2---------(I)

DIAMETER= 14CM

RADIUS=R/2

=14/2=7CM

WE KNOW THAT,

AREA OF CIRCLE =PI*RADIUS^2

=22/7*7*7=154CM^2-------(2)

FROM (1) AND (2)

AREA OF CARDBOARD LEFT

= (196-154)

= 42CM^2
