no of cards = n = 52
----------------------------------------
a) no of ace = m = 4

P(ace) = m/ n

= 4/52  = 1/13
---------------------------------------------------------
b) no of 4 of diamond = 1 = m

p(4 of diamond) = m/n

= 1/52
----------------------------------------------------------
c) no of red cards = 26 = m

P(red card) = m/n

= 26/52 = 1/2
----------------------------------------------------

mysticd: number of ace cards m = 4
Raghav362002: no 13
TheRuhanikaDhawan: thanks sir
mysticd: a) p(ace) =m/n =4/52 =1/13
mysticd: do the cancellation also a) 1/13 c)1/2
mysticd: thank u
TheRuhanikaDhawan: welcome
mysticd: a small correction in a) change - into =
TheRuhanikaDhawan: done

1) total no. of cards = 52...
ace cards = 13
so that, the probabilty = 13/52

2) no. of 4 diamonds = 1
so that the probability = 1/52

3) no. of red cards = 26
and the probability = 26/52 = 1/2
