From a window , 60m high above the ground, of a house in a street, the angles of elevation and deppression of the top and foot of another house on the opposite side of the street are 60 deg & 45 deg respectively. Show that the height of the opposite house is 60(1 root 3)metres.

The distance between the two houses will be tan45=60/distance between... Therefore distance between =60 meters And also it is some height of the building because in a rectangle opposite sides are equal Tan60=some unknown height of the building /60 Which is equal to 60root3 Then total height of the building =60+60roor3 If we take 60 common we get 60(1+root3)mts
