Total number of numbers having same digit = 3

Probability of both digits being the same

=Total number of numbers having same digit/Total number of numbers formed

=3/9=1/3

= 0.33  

ii Total number of numbers formed = 9  

Total number of numbers sum being 4 = 3

Probability of both digits being the same

=Total number of numbers sum being 4/Total number of numbers formed

=3/9=1/3

=0.33
