Answer :-

118 is the correct option which replaces the Question mark .

Step-by-Step-Explanation :-

Firstly let's understand this question properly with it's solution :

In First , Second , Third Triangle the number inside the triangle is given and the base (Triangle) as there are two sides that is also given but the upward side is provided in only first & second triangle but not in 3rd one. So, it's crystal clear that we can't use the upward side as a hint to find the ?

So,

Notice carefully :

First Triangle :-

First add 72 and 10 . What you get is nothing but 82 . Now , Secondly Subtract 82 and 33 . What you get is 49 . Now , What to Subtract with 49 so that you get it as 41 . It's nothing but 8 . [ 41 + 8 = 49]

Second Triangle :-

Here , also do the same First add 146 and 7 . What you get is 153 . Secondly , Subtract 153 and 63 . What you get is 90 . Now , what to Subtract with 90 so that you get 72 . It's nothing but 18 . [ 72 + 18 = 90]

Did you Noticed ?

  • Difference between 8 and 18 ?

= It's 10 (multiply by 2 and then substract 2) .

According to the rule ,

  • Let us take that the ? we have to find is x .

Third Triangle :-

Here , what we will do is same .

\rm [ (x+2)-30 ] -18\times2-2 = 52

\implies\rm [ (x-28 ] -36-2 = 52

\implies\rm (x-28 )-38 = 52

\implies\rm x-66 = 52

When -66 will go to right it will be added ,

\implies\rm x = 52+66

\implies\underline{\rm\bf x = 118}

Hence , the correct option is (B) 118  and it replaces the question mark .
