consider the figure,
h/x=tan 60°
h/(1-x) = tan 30°

solving for h = √3/4

Tinnitus: why we take 1-x
Tinnitus: we can take x and x+1
Arvindbhattacharjee3: Why 1-x??
Arvindbhattacharjee3: I understood.Well done
Tinnitus: then tell
Arvindbhattacharjee3: The two kilometers stones are consecutive so between two kilometers stones the distance is 1 km, so if on right side its x then on the left side it should be 1-x. Now did you understand??
kinkyMkye: hope u like it
Arvindbhattacharjee3: yeah....
