mid day meal programme was by Kamarajar to encourage poor people to study as there was no easy food availability poor people liked this scheme though Kamarajar was illiterate he made other people to study

mid day meal was a programme runned by the government so that poor kids dont have to go home in the lunch time as when they go hone they dont come to study and by this mean more village kids would come to school
