Answer: area of square = a²

= 4*4= 16 cm²

Area of 4 quadrant of same radius = area of one circle

=πr²

= 3.14*1*1

= 3.14

Area of remaining square = area of square - area of the 4 quadrants

= 16 - 3.14

= 12.86 cm²
