From each of the two opposite corners of a square of side 16 cm, a quadrant of a circle of radius 2.8 cm is cut. Another circle of radius 5.6 cm is also cut from the centre. Find the area of shaded portion of the square.

The area of the remains part
= s × s - (22/7 × 2.8 × 1/4 × 2.8 + 22/7 × 5.6 × 5.6)
= 256 - (6.16 + 98.56)
= 256 - 104.72
= 151.28
