Perimeter of a triangle = Sum of all sides

Given:- In the figure PA and PB are two tangents to the circle with center O.

Another tangent CD at E.

Proof:- In the given figure PA and PB are the tangent and also another tangent CD at E

CA=CE

DB=DE (By Theorem 10.2- Tangent from an external point are equal)

Therefore,

Perimeter of a triangle= Sum of all sides

= 12 + 12

= 24cm.
