let us use trigonometry taking angle CAB

 \sin(30)  =  \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{bc}{ac}

 \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{bc}{14}

bc = 7

now, using cos 30

 \cos(30)  =  \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2} =  \frac{ab}{14}

ab = 7 \sqrt{3}

so we have successfully found value of bc=7 and ab=7√3
