In the story the tigaer king the maharaja had banned tiger hunting in his empire. Thus it was a celebration time for the tigers in his empire. But the irony in this line is that though no other person could hunt the tigers in the empire, the king could do so at his own sweet will. The law was applicable for the rest. The tragic part was that the king hunted and exhausted the tiger population of pratibandapuram
