Given : A right angle triangle ABC , right angled at C

AB = 10 cm

BC = 5 cm

To Find : the value of trigonometric ratios..

(a) sin B

(b) cos A

(c) tan B

(d) cos C

(e) cosec C

Solution:

AB = 10 cm

BC = 5 cm

AC² = AB² - BC²

=> AC² = 10² - 5²

=> AC² = 5²(4 - 1)

=> AC² = 5²(3)

=> AC =5√3

(a) sin B   = AC/AB  = 5√3/10  = √3/2

(b) cos A  = AC/AB  = 5√3/10  = √3/2

(c) tan B  = AC/BC = 5√3/5  = √3

(d) cos C  = Cos 90° =  0

(e) cosec C = 1/Sin90° = 1/1 = 1
