so in the right angled triangle,

as all the triangle sum up to be 180'

therefore,

52+90+(3y+5)= 180

142+3y+5= 180

147 +3y =180

3y =180-147

3y= 33

y=33/3

y=11

let us now consider the whole figure, and as we can see two lines parallel with a transversal, therefore, the other angle = 52 (as it forms a Z)

so in 2nd triangle,

52+65+x=180

117+x=180

x=180-117

x= 63
