remember that the angles of a triangle add up to 180°
so first find the remaining angle of the triangle CED
180-24-24 = 144
so, the angle CED is 114
the angles in a straight line also add up to 180°
so you can find the angle AEC also by using the same method
180-114 = 66
the angles AEC and CAE will be same as those angles are in isosceles triangle.
so, angle CAE is also 66. this is' y'.
then, you can find 'z' by using the formula we used.
180-66-66 = 248
As the angle CDA is 42, angle BAD is also 42
because those angles are formed in a parallel line.
so here are the answers;
x = 42
y = 66
z = 248
