TAN THETA = opposite/adjacent=1/√3

SEC THETA = hypotenuse/adjacent = 2/√3

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Tan θ = Perpendicular / Base .
  • sec θ = Hypotenuse / Base .

so, given that,

  • Perpendicular = 1
  • Base = √3
  • Hypotenuse = 2 .

then,

→ tan θ = Perpendicular / Base = (1/3)

and,

→ sec θ = Hypotenuse / Base = (2/√3) = (2√3)/3
