From the point on the ground the top of cell phone tower is seen to have an angle of elevation 45 degree the distance between tower and point is 100m calculate the height of the tower

 \alpha  = 45

which is the angle of elevation

so,

 \tan(45)  =  \frac{h}{ \frac{r}{2} }

1 =  \frac{2h}{100}

h = 50m

hence the height of the tower is 50 m
