From the salary of a worker, 10% is deducted as house rent, 15% of the total he spends on children's
education and 10% of the total he spends on cloths. After this expenditure, he is left with 1950. What
is his monthly salary ?

Let the monthly salary = x

Given,

x - 10%x - 15%x - 10%x = 1950

x - 35%x = 1950

x - 35x/100 = 1950

65x = 195000

x = 3000

Salary = 3000
