Mrs.Bhandari - The happiest women in the world:
The silver lining by chaman mahal azadi is a story which describes about a handicapped child and their parents. They felt sad of their their child. But a change arise in their life when they saw a guest who is handicapped. He brings a ray of hope into their family. The describes a person as follows. A happy looking man may not be happy. He may suffer a lot from inside. A happy face don't mean that he/she is happy. Mrs. Bhandari was a hostess . She is huge, dark and has bony limbs. She was pleasant looking and kind. She has a eight year old daughter named Pramodni. She was physically challenged. Unaware of her problem the author asked something to which she remained silent. Mrs. Bhandari explained her condition to the author and he felt sorry for his act. Mrs. Bhandari worried about this and she don't want her daughter to feel aloof. So she writes about her handicapped situation in a letter and gave it to the visitors requesting them not to ask any question to pramodni. One day there came a visitor named Mr. David . On reading the letter he rushed into the courtyard to see
Pramodni. Mrs. Bhandari was shocked by this act. She came there and felt surprised to see that Mr. David was talking to pramodni . Mr. David was deaf and dumb. He has learnt a special skill of communication and decided to start a school for handicapped children. He was eager to make pramodni as his first student. This makes her mother happy. This situation makes Mrs. Bhandari as the happiest women in the world.
