  1. Valence electron = 4
  2. valency = 4
  3. atomic number = no of protons = 6
  4. mass number = no of protons + no of neutrons = 6 + 6 = 12
  5. electric configuration = 2, 4

2. no of protons = 12 , no of neutrons = 12

  1. Valence electron = 2
  2. valency = 2
  3. atomic number = no of protons = 12
  4. mass number = no of protons + no of neutrons = 12 + 12 = 24
