First we will do sum of 4 + 3x and 5 - 4x + 2x²

4 + 3x + 5 - 4x - 2x²

Take close all like terms:-

4 + 5 + 3x - 4x - 2x²

9 - x - 2x²

Now second one,

3x² - 5x - x² + 2x + 5

3x² - x² - 5x + 2x + 5

2x² + 3x + 5

Now subtraction,

9 - x - 2x² - (2x² + 3x + 5)

9 - x -2x² - 2x²- 3x - 5

9 - 5 - 2x² -2x² - x - 3x
